Jim talked about the storm drain marking project being a bust because of Dave Davies workload and Darrel Glass being unable to coordinate it on his own.

Jim also talked about not hearing back from Pat Dennison yet on printing issues.

He went on to say that Big Bend Creek is 90% complete with just some tying in of the lwd to the anchors being left to do.

Jim would like to thank Patrick Watson and Kevin Dello for their dedication to this project and honourable mention to Mike Alstrop.

Jim asked that we send out a letter of thanks to WFP for all their donations in kind towards this project.

There will be a bbq at Big Bend Creek this Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm to celebrate.

Kevin commented that he needs an inventory list of all our equipment so he can decide if he has the room available for storing or whether he has to build more.

Paul reminded everyone that only two members have paid their 2004 membership dues and in November we will be asked to pay 2005 dues.

Jim stated that the Dunlop Creek fence is 90% removed and that it will be completely removed shortly.

Shore Keepers assessment has met the same fate as the storm drain marking project and will be looked at again next year.

Paul updated everyone on the progress of the Elk River Riparian project.

He will be taking some high school students to the site on October 7-8 to help plant the stakes they cut in early September.

Paul added that he has cancelled the salmon enumeration workshop because of the controversy surrounding the future of the Conuma Hatchery, which has taken up all of his time.

Our local salmon enumeration projects will continue as before.

Paul talked about the email from the Pacific Streamkeepers Federation regarding Riparian Area Regulations.

Jim talked about this to everyone as he has been addressing this on behalf of the village.

Paul gave financial report.

The payment to HKM should be removed as this is handled through the Big Bend Creek funding contract and not us.

Patrick Watson seconded.  Called to question, all in favour, none opposed, so moved.

Action items: None.

Kevin Dello moved to adjourn at 8:18 pm.
